Frequent Asked Questions
Question: The lights on your sensor bar do not appear illuminated, how do I turn them on?
Answer: The LED lights on the front of our sensor bars are infrared. The light they give off is invisible to the human eye and will not appear illuminated unless you view them through a digital camera.
Question: How do I setup a Nextronics sensor bar, or sensor eyes?
Answer: The sensor bar should be centered on top or below your television or screen, with LED lights facing towards the player. Plug sensor bar into power source, and your sensor bar should be ready to use.
Sensor eyes are setup in a similar way. Expose the adhesive circle on the back of the eyes, and place them on your wall (if using a projector) or screen edge. Space the sensor eyes apart at least 15 inches, and make sure they are level with each other.
If you experience a jittery or blinking cursor with a sensor bar or sensor eyes, you may have to increase the sensor bar sensitivity level in the wii setup menu.
Question: Will I experience signal loss with Nextronics 50ft, or 100ft sensor bar extension cables?
Answer: You should experience no noticable signal loss with our cables.
Question: How does your sensor bar connect to the wii console, can I really keep the Wii in a different room?
Answer: The sensor bar does not actually connect to the Wii at all. The sensor bar sends infrared signal to the Wii remotes, and the Wii remotes transmit data to the Wii console via a bluetooth connection. Therefore, you can keep the Wii console in a completely separate room.
